Extract the download and move the app bundle any place you'd like.

If you're running MacOS Sierra, it is important to move the app before running, otherwise, it will get translocated (the app will run from a randomized path and won't have access to the game data files).

To launch the game, double-click the LODERUNN app bundle.

Linux

Plays on Debian, Manjaro, Mint, Ubuntu.

Extract the download to any place you'd like and make sure to set LODERUNN, LODERUNN.bin.x86, and LODERUNN.bin.x86_64 as executable.

To launch the game, double-click the LODERUNN file.

CD soundtrack

Works on all platforms.

The DLC includes the original, studio recorded, CD soundtrack from The Mad Monks' Revenge and the MIDI audio from The Legend Returns. The DLC is available on the downloads page.

After downloading, place the LR_AUDIO.PRS DLC in your Lode Runner Online directory.

Getting help

If you are unfortunate enough to get the "A fatal error has occurred in Lode Runner" error, the game will generate an error log. You can find the log in your Lode Runner Online directory.

Error logs include the game version, operating system, language, details of the error, game engine log, a screenshot of the game, and a copy of your game configuration.
